I think, perhaps, that they were embarassed for you to have come up with only a single answere when there may be several!.

It could be a series of dots, along a line!.

It could be a latent image formed by connecting a series of dots in a particular sequence!.

Leaving the realm of a geometric line, a line could be as thick as one wants!. In that case, a broad line could be interspersed with polka dots of various colors and sizes!.

Which brings to mind something like a "line" of clothing, which could be patterned with dots!.

Does a "dot" have to have a circular shape!? If not, any variety of dashed lines could qualify!.

I could go on, but my enourmous brain has tired of this childish game!. I think I'll go ponder solutions to the Middle East problem!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
