"Duck" is a kind of canvas fabric that was used for things like sleeping cots, and other utilitarian things!. Usually it's made of cotton, but I suppose can be acrylic!. I used to stretch it for oil-painting!. "Medium texture" must mean how rough or "nubby" it is!. Check with a upholstery-fabric store, or perhaps an old-fashioned hardware store!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
