Question: I need some ideas for a painting!.!?

I am at a totally loss right now!. I am going to paint a picture for my parents as a thank-you!. I can't think of anything to paint though!!! I am trying to avoid painting people!. I just need some ideas!! THANKS!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Why a picture!? Since the movie Apocalypto, I've been enthralled with Mayan art!. The great part about it is that you can paint the dullest piece of pottery or wood (throw outs) and they become outstanding pieces of art that actually be used and displayed!. Just a thought!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

if i were u, i would definitely try to paint ur family, or just ur parents, or u and ur parents

If you think your parents would be into it, why don't you try something abstract and colourful!? Go online and find something you like and think you could manage and copy it!. After all, it's not for sale so copying shouldn't be an issue!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

What do they like!? Do they have any hobbies!? Maybe a place they like to go!? How about a favorite pet!? Animals are fun to paint!. What about a self portrait!.!.you are their daughter!. Just think about what would mean something to them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Find a keepsake that's very dear to your parents and easy for you to paint!. Maybe something that brings back a treasured memory, etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
