She doesn't seem very happy, and the dress doesn't really help!. you see the woman in the background is wearing a light blue dress and picking flowers, whereas the woman on the bench is wearing a black and gray dress and seems to be sad!. Perhaps she is on her way to a funeral or someones grave and stopped to have a rest (i'm just guessing that because both her and the gentleman are in black and the flowers could be for the deceased)!. I also think that the woman in the background gives it a sense of realism, it's not just a couple by a park bench!. I'm curious as to what is behind the bushes the woman in blue is in front of; it appears to be a building of some sort, but i can't really tell!. hmm!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

she seems uncomfortable!. the gentleman behind her seems interested in her or what shes looking at!. He possibly could have given her those flowers
