well!. doing figure is o!.k and you do score quite a lot when doing it!.!.what matters is what style are you planning to use to do the figure:-realistic,cubism,semi-abstract etc!.!.!.!.personally i`ll advise you to use the realism style for the figure and use semi-abstract(abstract) for the background,(due to the fact that abstract is gaining popularity these days and is very appreciated)!.!. and some collage stuff as well as stuffs like mixing sand to your paint to give some effects and using plaster of paris etc!!!

for your figure i`ll advise you either to make a young child or an old person with wrinkles or both!.!.why the young child!?:because if you miss the accuracy in making the face of the child, the face might look at like of an adult,!.!.examiners look for power in accuracy and your power of observation!.

why old people!?:because drawing an old person`s face takes a lot of times especially with lots of wrinkles and if you succeed, the examiner will take your ability in detail-work in consideration!.!.!.

all depends on you!.!.!.

and remember always use a dull and dark colour for your background otherwise your personage will not be the main subject of the art-work!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

hope i helped youWww@QuestionHome@Com
