Question: How to take a good picture of my/a eye!?
I photo-manipulate and I love working with eyes, but I hate finding and using stock because it never seems to be as good as it could be!. So does anyone have any tips on how to get a good photograph of an eye!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I took pictures of my own eyes by staring directly into a macro lens!. If you don't have a macro lens, then set your camera on telephoto and aim it at someone's eye!. Then get as close as you can and still have the eye in focus!. Make sure the light is good and they don't blink!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Go outside on a sunny day and set your camera to macro !. You could also hold something by your eye to make it more interesting , here's a shot that i did of my friends eye , outdoors , and on macro :

or in this shot , i took a shot of my own eye , though i did have to stare out into the sun :

Edit : Almost all cameras have a macro setting , what camera do you have !?Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you have a point and shoot camera, just set it to macro and stand in front of a mirror!. Look at the LCD in the mirror and shoot!. You mayhave to adjust the exposure compensation (EV) by (-0!.3), (-0,7), or (-1!.0) if it overesposes!. Maybe more!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just take a picture of the whole face and crop the eye out!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
