it really depends on what subject matter you're looking for and what kind of resolution you're talking about!.

one extremely easy way is google images (sorry yahoo loyalists) there's a selection towards the top of the page that will narrow your search to really large images!. here we're talking as much as 5 mega pixels) or large images and so on!.

another site that I frequent for work is PhotoLibrary!.com!. images may not be as big as you'd like (again, depends on your requirement) but among the stock image providers, they are one of the few that offer the larger comp images!.

there are a lot of other stock image providers!. Corbis, Daichi and Getty images are quite popular!. they have virtually anything you can think of!. and if you'll be doing some photoshopping, you can easily create anything by combining two or more pics!.

it's important to note, however, that if you plan to use them professionally, you must buy the images!. but if it's just for "home use" then knock yourself out!. their images come with a watermark that can easily be removed by registering in their site (free)!.
