To make an armature / support structure for your model, you can ball and roll up newspaper to make your form!. Just keep scrunching and adding newspaper until you've got the shape you're looking for!. Use plenty of masking tape as you go to hold the whole thing together!. Then paper mache on top of your form!. Later, you can choose to remove your armature or leave it in since it's pretty light!. Have fun!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Try masking tape !.You mean to support the layers of paper right!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Depends on what shape you are making, Balloons work good ,milk jug!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would use a wire structure!. Just bend the wire in the shape you want it then add the paper you might need alot of paper though!.

Cardboard and masking tape to hold it together as a base for structured shapes Crumpled newspaper bound together with masking tape covering it and then papier mache over the top!. I built a 6' foot circus heart with wings using cardboard with newspaper and tape!. It was like fiberglass when I was finished!.

You can use wood and wire mesh but only need to for something very large or structural, like a large standing figure!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

depends if its small if so maybe a toilet paper roll structure or milk jug balloon!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
