Question: How do I mount photoson a mounting board!?
I'm required to mount my photos on a mounting board for a photography competition!.

The competition deadline is 30 April and I'm in a big rush, can I use glue, or are there any other cheap, fast methods!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Especially since you are in a hurry, I'd vote with Chris on this!. If yo were hanging them in a museum where you wanted that to last a lifetime, you shouldn't use tape - even "archival" tape - but for a competition less than ten days away, go for it!. Even Scotch Brand double sided tape is marked acid-free and photo safe!. Be sure to use enough of it so that the photo doesn't sag!. Put little bits (1" or so) all over everywhere on the mounting board where the photo will go and be v-e-r-y careful as you press it to place!.

Michael's sells some pre-cut mounting tabs in a dispenser box that will get the job done in short order!.

If you are using a mat for the photo, you can approach this quite differently, but you didn't mention that so I'll assume you don't need it unless to "add details" to tell us otherwise!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you go to Michelle's, they have precut mounting boards, a cheap and quick way to mount and dismount!. They ones that have a triangular cut in the back mount which you should cover with a third mount!.

If you want to get more technical, you should go to a local university and find a graphics services inside the campus!. The people at such place can help you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Properly mounting a photo requires photo mount paper, which looks a lot like waxed paper!. You cut it to the exact size or a bit smaller then your photo, place it between the photo and the board, then put them in a press with heat (something like the dry cleaner uses to press clothing)!.
The heat and the pressure permanently adhere the photo to the board!.
Viola! Done!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You can always use spray mount, its designed for photos and stuff like that, it comes in a can and you spray the back of the photos and just stick them on, easy as that!. You can reposition them a couple of times!. Just be carefull not to get it on the front of your pictures!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

For the easiest and quickest you can use double sided tape from a dispenser available in any craft shop!. You can even get archival quality if you want to!.
