Question: Art project: impressionism!.!.!?
right im looking for some ideas as to what to base this project on, ive looked at how monet and the impressionists looked at modern stuff at that time, like new bridges, railways, trains, and all that, and i was quite interested in doing some nice pictures of windfarms or power stations etc!. I wish you had been more specific about your project!.
Are you drawing, painting, doing photos!? How exactly do you plan to express/ illustrate impressionism!?
Many impressionists looked at nature -- Monet's water lilies, hay stacks, rivers, and garden at Giverny; Van Gogh's fields, sunflowers and starry nights!. Others, like Degas, Morisot, Renoir, (late) Manet and the sculptors Rodin and Claudel, were more figure focused!.
I think it could be very interesting to take their way of "seeing" and apply it to contemporary situations!. (But a lot depends on the medium/ media you choose!)

Swimming Pools, Woods!? And also Theres An Artist Called John Piper !.!.!. Who Did Work Based On Old Buildings With A Dramaticc Effect!.
