Among others, my influences have included Norman Rockwell for his realistic portrayal of humourous and touching subjects, Frank Frazetta and Boris Vallejo for the stunning fantasy scenes adorning my reading material and posters, Peter Max for his colorful flights of fancy and Kelley Freas, because his style is (was!?) much like mine when I am left to my own devices and not producing for clients!.

It's just that there are so many artists that have reached me through various channels: Steve Ditko and Joe Kubert from the comic books, Leonardo da Vinci for his amazing eye and ability to capture the majesty and engineering that goes into what makes a human being, Grant Woods for being able to capture the American spirit, Freida Kalho for helping me see that "primitive" art does not mean "unsophisticated," Pablo Picasso for showing me how to pick out stucture from chaos, Salvdore Dali for being the character that he was !.!.!.

It might seem really weird, but a manga artist by the name of Yoshihiro Togashi got me drawing!.!.!. a lot!. I'm not near his level, but I've definitely improved!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
