Emulsion ceiling then walls first, then gloss woodwork!. I do the gloss paint before bedtime , so less chance of touching it before its dry!. If it is safe leave window open after painting frames as they will stick & be very hard to open!. Leave a bowl of water & a cut onion in the room as they take away the smell of the paint!. Woodwork first!.

If you make a mistake it is easier to wipe emulsion of dried gloss than it is to wipe wet gloss of an emulsioned wall!.

Always emulsion first, although you could get away with undercoating the woodwork before emulsioning and glossing afterwards!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

For walls and ceiling, use Emulsion paints only!. !.
Gloss paint is used only for Wood and Metals!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
