Position:Home>Visual Arts> Question about image protection on Redbubble?

Question:I was just having a look around redbubble and was alarmed that a right click was allowed.

For this reason I don't think I'd be putting my own images on there. I probably woudn't anyway, but I thought this is just asking for theft. Just wanted to spread the word on that.

Ma'am, it doesn't matter.

Run Irfanview, use the capture "Ctrl-F11" option and you can copy any image you want.

If you want your image truly secure....do not put it on the internet. Do not scan it.

Online...they will get it.

thankyou for that information.

I didn't even know that , thanks for telling me .

So you type very fast? Are them fightin' words???

As MM said, once you get your stuff on the internet, it's "out there" for anyone who wants it. It's sad, but true. I had one person ask persmission to use one of my Flickr shots on a web site (actually, my son's Romania pic), but I'm sure there are others out there beingused without permission and without credit. It's the price I pay so that I can show my stuff to you.

As far as getting the stuff off of RedBubble, I can't even begin to tell you how nice their cards are. I've had Crane message cards before and even they are not as nice as the RedBubble items. If someone stole the picture, oh well, they stole it, but they would never be able to make as nice an item as RedBubble sells.

I looked everywhere - even asked for recommendations here - for a high quality blank note card and I didn't find anything half as nice as they are supplying.
