Take any drama related classes you can!. Try out for all your school plays and musicals!. If you have community theater plays, try out for those, too!. Get as much experience as you can!. Even if it requires doing the grunt work like stage hands or props person, or sound effects and lightening, and set building!. They are all important for an actor to know and it opens more doors for you to get your foot "in the door"!.

Colleges/acting schools most likely require talent so a place like Juilliard is open to musicians, actors, playwrites; anything that has to do with the Arts!. Learn it all, if you can!. It will up your ante and allow more doors to be opened when the time comes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
