Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
1!. A monologue is a part of a play where only one person is speaking!. 2!. Bewildered is to be confused!.
3!. Think of actions you would associate with being confused!. What do you do when you are confused!. Try taking breaks where the character just thinks, scrunches her eyebrows slightly!.
4!. A beat is a pause!. In this case you take a beat when the character is listening to the person on the other end of the line!. You can act during the beat, but your main focus should be on the person on the other end!. When acting phone scenes it can be very helpful to write out what the other person could be saying, so you can cater your reactions to that!.
5!. You can emphasize the bewilderment in your speech by starting to say something then stopping and thinking, then finishing what you were saying!. Try to think of physical ways to portray bewilderment, its the easiest and most effective way of conveying emotion to an audience!. And in terms of memorizing, I usually memorize peice by peice adding it together as I go along!.

I hope this helps, good Luck :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
