Question: How can a 14 yer old become an actrss in Hollywood!?
advice please!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
are you currently residing in L!.A!? If not, then you will want to start building up credits in your hometown!. Do school plays, community theater, and take classes!.
You are in the midst of the "dead years"!. Actresses your age (and mine!.!.!. its 13-16) do not get hired often because we have restrictions on hours we work, and we must still attend school!. there for, casting directors would rather hire an 18 year old who can play 14 rather than an actual 14 year old!.
so, that said, keep building credits in your hometown!. After that, then comes the search for an agent!. Go out, get head shots, and get out the yellow pages!. You must audition for an agent!. Agents hire you, not the other way around, and they get 10% of everything you make!. You will never have to pay for an agent, ever!.
After getting an agent, keep building credits, and enjoy your times in your hometown!. L!.A!. is tough for actors and actresses because so many of them live there, and there are only so many roles!.
After you feel you have built up credits, move to L!.A!., get a job, and get an agent there!.
There is no guarantee you will ever get roles in Hollywood!. I can tell you that ones for younger kids are even less than for adults!.

Best of luck!

1!. get an agent
2!. headshots
3!. experience
4!. resumé

once you get an agent you can get a lot further into the process, so make that first on your list!. You'll need headshots for your auditions and sometimes to qualify or auditions!. Start making a resumé of all of your previous experience!. People with more experience are more likely to be hired!.

****Don't fall for any scams! be careful!Www@QuestionHome@Com

first of all!.!. living in LA would be a +

*start doing some extra work/start getting involved in plays or other projects where u can showcase your talent (which you need to have)/build up your resume
*get headshots taken
*hopefully you'll get an agent

DO NOT fall for any scams!.!.!. and looking up an agent in the yellow pages may not be the best ideaWww@QuestionHome@Com

You need to find an agent (I'd check the yellow pages), preferably have some background talent, and references wouldn't hurt!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
