Question: I'm a twelve year old girl who wants to get into acting!? how!?
I have NO experience except for a drama class that i did last year, and i really want to start acting! can u help me!? and please dont write anything rude, cause i just want help, not everyone telling me that its impossible cause i know its not!. the reason that i want to start acting is because i love it and everyone i know says im a really good actress! im also in dancing & choir if that helps :) i also live in british columbia canada, so i can drive to seattle and LA and places like that, thanx again!Www@QuestionHome@Com

The first logical thing to do would be to join a drama class/school!.
You need to do your research, so that means looking for auditions in magazines, internet, newspapers and asking around!. Acting takes a lot of determination so you have to be willing to fight for you dream as a lot of people will tell you that “you can’t do it” don’t listen to them and stay true to yourself!.

Set up a profile on bebo, myspace etc etc dedicated to drama with head shots, a list of all the acting things you have done, as agents look at these!. Create a resame, Join groups that are dedicated to acting and that!. You will need to start of small, so auditioning for Musicals, Short Producations, Advertisments etc!. Once you have done these, then you can think about auditioning for “extras” in movies and what not!.

I'm in the same situation!. I hate to say it but, I really can't help!. All I know is to be outgoing, and get a lot of experience!. Then when your ready, get an agent!. After that, It's all up to you, and a whole lot of luck!. Just keep trying, and never give up!Www@QuestionHome@Com
