Take a thick magazine or folder or something and put it over the page!.

Gradually slide it down, reading the lines, until you get to a line that you think is right before one of yours!. Say the line you think comes after it out loud, and also do the blocking that goes with it!. Then slide down the folder to see if that line was actually yours and if you said it right!. Continue on if you were right!. But if you said one of your lines at the wrong time or came across one of your lines unexpectedly, you have to go back up to the top of the page and start over again!. Trust me--it works! :-DWww@QuestionHome@Com

A very good idea is to have another person with you!. He or she should have a copy of your script!. If it is two way conversation you read your part and get them to read the other part!. Do not worry about being repetitive and going over lines more than once!.
If you are to play a character part, try living that part, become the person you are portraying with a determination to remember every word and movement!. Go break a leg Www@QuestionHome@Com

Read over them with someone else a few times, slowly trying to get your gaze off of the script as you get more familiar with it!. When you feel good about it, put the script away and read through the lines with your friend, who will be holding the script in case you forget!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Personally, I think the best way is to rehearse with a friend and start acting together, it'll help
