Question: The complete works of shakespeare abridged!?
I have two questions about The complete works of shakespeare abridged!.

1!.) How many actors are in it!? I've heard 3 but I've also head many more!.

2!.) Where can I buy the script!? I am very much intertested in my school performing it (granted that it would have more than 3 actors!!)

Thank you very much!

1) Three is the usual amount!. It's built to be played by three, but it takes a very cohesive grouping of three to get in and out of the various costumes and jump back an forth in between characters!. I would recommend reading the whole play and seeing how easy it'll be for you and your fellow actors to actually perform the play adequately!. The good part is that you don't need to really worry about sets or elaborate costumes!.

2) It's readily available on Amazon!.Com (http://www!.amazon!.com/Reduced-Shakespear!.!.!. As for your school performing it, you can try to rework it to accommodate more than 3 actors (possibly with other actors doing the cut scenes that the 3 normally do themselves) but problems might occur later when the 3 narrator characters are later referred to as other characters they are supposed to play throughout the script!.

I would recommend looking at the script before suggesting it due to its complexity and intricate, interwoven jokes amongst the normal 3 cast!. But I would advise against modifying the script as it may be against the terms of the royalty agreement, plus messing with the original intent of the script is a big no no in most theatrical circles, but this can be circumvented if needing to be used in Educational Theatre!. Although I would HIGHLY advise AGAINST IT!.
