Question: Visiting NY all I could find on Broadway were Shows I've seen in London- What's going on!?

OK the cast of 'Chicago' had accents closer to that city but come on, the Great White Way, live up to your reputation for innovation!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Broadway has become way too expensive for innovation!. Visit the off-Broadway theatres, you'll find more that's interesting!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'd say there's more of a problem on the London side of the pond - the audiences only seem to be there for big flashy American imports!. Now I love Hairspray and Spamalot, etc, etc, but they were Broadway shows before they came to London!. The only major London show I'm aware of on Broadway at the moment is Mary Poppins, which is Disney after all!

London seems full of Broadway shows at the moment, rather than vice versa!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
