Very very very rare!. If agents spent all their time looking at unknowns, they'd never get work for their known clients!.

Best bet is to start to gain some experience - either community theatre, and/or no-budget student films, so you can build your resume!. Then not only do you have something to show a potential agent (your showreel) but more importantly, the people you meet on these lo- to no-budget shoots may hire you later on down the track!. It's called networking!.
