First you must develop an understanding of how the entertainment industry works and operates in the U!.S!. There are plenty of agencies who will work with foreign born talent BUT NOT if that talent doesn't already live in the United States with the required visas and work permits!.

As well you are 16 years old, therefore a minor in the United States, so you wouldn't be able to sign any documents or do much of anything without your parents or a legal guardian!.

Concerning agents you have it backwards!. Agents don't get you into the industry!. You have to do that on your own!. Agents represent actors who already have some momentum and marketability so that they can make money with them!. Becoming a professional actors is a multi year brutally tough hustle for anyone regardless of race or nationality!. The fact is there are too many actors for too few opportunities!.

Lastly, there is an entertainment industry in South Africa and it does hire non whites!. An HBO series Generation Kill was shot down there and while the stars were mostly hired out of the U!.S!. they did use a few local actors in small parts including an American friend of mine who actually moved to your country to continue his acting career!. He appeared in Hotel Rwanda as well!. He is black!.

Anyway, get yourself sorted in South Africa first, join a theater group, get an acting coach, whatever you have to do!. Moving to the states to pursue a career is a whole different battle that you are not prepared for right now!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
