Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Do you want to be an actor or an extra!? If you want to be an actor, I'd take a couple classes wherever you can get them, and find an agent!. If you want to be an extra, find yourself an agent that finds extras work - it's easier to find agents like this - and don't worry about the classes!. Extras do background work!. So do actors when they take on that kind of job, but actors tend to be going for lines, and for that you need to be able to perform and have the kind of technical knowledge that I think comes more from experience or classes than anything!.
