Yes you can!. The boy in Eragon was was inexperienced!. If you have the talent, then use it!. Participate in community theater!.

Step1
Decide whether you want to be a professional actor (addressed here) or an amateur!. If you want to be a professional, read on!.
Step2
Move to a major city!. Eventually, New York or Los Angeles will be your destination, but as you build your resumé of experience you can work in other major metropolitan areas that have good theater or film communities!.
Step3
Enroll in acting class!. Good actors study their entire lives!. To choose a good class, ask trusted, successful professionals for references!.
Step4
Get a headshot (see "How to Get a Headshot," under Related eHows)!.
Step5
Compose a resumé of all the work you have done so far!. As your body of work grows, drop the less professional work (such as school plays) from your resumé!.
Step6
Send your headshot and resumé with a brief cover letter to all the casting directors and agents in your area!. Follow up with postcards every four to six months, updating them on your current acting projects!.
Step7
Read the trade papers regularly: "Backstage," "Dramalogue," "The Ross Reports" and "Variety," as well as online publications such as newenglandfilm!.com, as appropriate!. Know what is being cast where, and send headshots and notes directly to directors and producers whenever possible, requesting auditions!.
Step8
Always accept invitations to industry events and parties, and meet industry professionals whenever possible!. Who you know is extremely important!.
Step9
Persevere!.

A good way to get into the business is to start by taking acting classes!. This will get you good and comfortable with acting!. Usually at the end of the course of acting classes, the place where you took them offers a "showcase"!. This is where invited agents come and you audition for them!. If they like you then they will call you and that's it! Another way to get a agent without doing acting classes is to submit your headshot and resume to an agency!. Agents don't cost anything and if they do it is a scam!. The way they make their money is by taking a small percentage of what you make doing acting or modeling jobs!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Absolutely not!. It's a hard truth that there's absolutely no agent that would hire you, and no director that would cast you, without experience!. With good reason -- every actor you see out there has had so much training (even the bad ones!)!. If you're serious about getting into acting, you need to commit to taking classes and getting experience!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

An agent makes their living from their clients finding work, so an agent who's worth their salt won't want to invest their time into a client who hasn't yet proven that they're going to get jobs!. You can be incredibly talented, trained, and dedicated, but you'll still need to find some sort of legit work to show that you're bankable!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

most likely not!. but there is a slight chance if your agent sees something she likes in you, you have passion, talent, determination, and connection, maybe just maybe you could make it!. but i doubt it!. Only 1% actually make acting their career!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Uhm!.
You could try it!.
But my guess is no!.
People like Will Smith and Patrick Dempsey took many years of practice, time and effort to become an actor!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

considering some of the horrible actresses out there with apparently no training in these A-list movies, (Jessica Alba!.!.!.) i'd say YES YOU CAN!. you can do whatever you put your mind to!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

its called being an extra Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes you couldd!. but if you want a chance advertise yourself on youtube and do something really interesting!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
