Question: For people who have been to an acting agency interview!?
I'm 15 years old!.

I'm considering becoming an actress and I'd like to get an interview with an acting agency!. The only problem is that when my mom's around, I'm more shy, which will probably affect the agency's decision about me!.

So my question is - if I go in for an interview, will my mom have to come in with me or can I just go in by myself!?

AND if by any chance I do get in!.!.!.!. if I ever end up going to shoot a commercial or show or whatever, would my mom HAVE to be on set or no!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Okay, this is what will happen when you get an interview with an agent!. You will get there and sometimes have to fill something out depending on what agency it is, then wait for them to call you back!. Since your 15 you go back by yourself unless they ask your mom to come back or if you would like her to!. Usually they will always want to just talk to you first!. Most of the time they will call your mom back AFTER they talk to you!.

As far as being on the set when shooting, since you are under 18 (a minor) it is required by law that a parent or legal guardian is on the set for the hours you are there shooting!. Not all of the time will he/she be sitting there watching you shoot though!. They may be in a trailer of their own or in a tent sitting with other parents (depending on what you are shooting)

Good luck with acting and everything!! I hope this helped!. =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you get shy around your mother , what happens when you get around a group of producers!? A full audience of 3000+ people!? A room with 20 other people watching you auditioning for the same part!? Sorry to say , but you are not ready for the theater if you have stage fright!. Do some more research!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
