To get a role in most things you need to have an agent!. Agents represent you and get you auditions for things!. AGENTS DO NOT COST ANY MONEY!. If you have to pay anything to an agent it is a scam!. The way agents make their money off of you is by taking out a small percentage of what you make on your acting jobs!. A good way to get an agent is to submit a headshot and resume to an agency or to take acting classes!. Usually at the end of the course of acting classes they have what's called a "showcase"!. This is where invited agents come and you audition for them!. If they like you they will call you and you go in and meet with them! Good luck with everything!. Well, for acting (I did this myself) you can start at a local theatre!. Ask the front desk if they hold any auditions for anything!. I auditioned for a play locally, I didn't get in, but I kept trying!. But if you want to start higher, like your first answerer said, find an agency!. I listed a few (mostly) modeling agencies in your other question, and I will find a few acting ones!. But yeah, like I said, try to audition for something local first!. You can give your child a sense of what is next and working with a local theatre is also very fun :-)Www@QuestionHome@Com
