Research or examine your character, how your character looks and reacts to things!. Think of how you react to being asked a certain question, how would that character react to that same question!?

You can learn a lot from the character's written body language, but overall you should try to develop the character a little bit past the script!. While you're going through your day, try to think about how you face feels when you react to various things!. Practicing expressions could probably help you out a lot once you figure out how the character you're playing is expressing his/herself!.

also, listen to yourself when you talk and think about how it sounds!. That too could probably help you out when you're speaking for your character!.

Or, you know, watch people when they speak and react to things said to them; if you practice with a mirror you could try to apply those expressions to your acting!.

Practice your lines when you get the chance, try to know them to the point that you can easily apply emotion to them!.

Sorry if this confuses you or anyone else, hope this helps!Www@QuestionHome@Com
