Be as familiar as possible with the script!. Have a clear idea in your head about just WHO this woman is, and go in LOOKING like Marian!. The auditor(s) will not just hear you but will see Marian in the way you move, the way you speak, the way you dress!. In his/her mind, you will have come to this audition AS Marian!. It will show you are willing to come to rehearsal prepared to work, and make this show the best it can be!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Know the story and the character!. Then go for the audition!. Surprise, surprise the director gives you something completely different!. Be yourself, read well and put some emotion into whatever you are reading!. And pray!. Directors have very funny ideas!.
