When you go for it and sell the song!.
When you don't apologize and just do it!. (no "I'm sick right now" stuff!.!.!. it sounds like a lame excuse and they still don't' know if you can do it)!.
Always pick a song that suits your voice (if it cracks in rehearsal, it will in audition)!.
When you know the show you are auditioning for and are familiar with the music enough to cold sing it!.
When you are prepared and off-book (memorized)!.
When you come in with positive energy!.
When you dress appropriately - not in costume, but in something that suggests the character!.
When you are willing to try different things!.
When you are on time and ready to go!.
