How do I produce safe white smoke? ?

Question: How do I produce safe white smoke!? !?

I need it for a costume backpack, which has a chimmney on it, with a small fan to draw the smoke, and an LED to illuminate the top of it!. Dry Ice needs special storage, smoke grenades BURN!. Bearing in mind I have to wear this, anyone got any ideas!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

A battery powered smoke machine is the only safe way to achieve this!. Talk to a local lighting hire company who will probably be able to help you out - my local company has one which was bought for a production of "Beauty and the Beast" to go in Mrs Potts' teapot, and I've used it several times for other shows!. They heat up pretty quickly and the battery life is usually pretty good!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Buy a smoke machine (like the ones they use on concerts)!. They are easy to use and safe!. If you get a basic model they aren't expensive!.
You can usually buy them in bigger music stores!.

Edit: oh!.!. you need it in your backpack!.!.!. Maybe there exist a battery version of the smoka machine!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Battery powered fog machines exist, but they are extremely expensive!. Beyond an occasional puff of talcum powder, I can't think of another solution!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
