Question: Why should it be so hard to break into acting in general!?

Lots of people want to become actors, lots more than the available parts, therefore, due to supply and demand, it's hard to get into acting!. Generally producers will go for an over 50 that they've heard of before (possibly when they were younger) than some new talent that they have no idea about!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes I know it is very difficult, now a days it is all about "the look" and Talent doesn't even seem to matter!. You also have to be in the right place at the right time!. It is so hard these days! :(Www@QuestionHome@Com
