hi i am 15 and i really like to act!. i have been thinking about acting on television or commericals and i was wondering how i can get an agent and if there is acting agencys in toronto!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

There are lots of talent agents in Toronto, and a fair number of TV commercials and films are shot there!.

However, you are going to have to do some work, and have the support of your parents, in order to get on the roster of a reputable agent!.

First, you need to know the signs of a scam agency or "scout":
- they ask for money to audition or to join the agency
- they tell you that you have to use their photographer for your head shots
- they try to sell you classes
- they tell you that you need to attend an expensive "showcase" or acting festival

Reputable agents make money only when you do (15%)!. They don't have inhouse photographers or teach classes!. Those showcases are just money-makers; no good agents go to them!.
