Question: For those writers/actors out there: About how many pages (typed) is 4-5 minutes of dialogue!?
I would read it out loud, but I can't do that until it is finished, and for me it is easier to have a projected page count in mind rather than make it and go back to add stuff!.

It all depends on spacing and complexity of the words!.
If it is simple; I would estimate 1-2 pages (but depending on font size and spacing)
If it is more complex; could range from 1 1/2-3 1/2
I know it sounds like alot but this is HIGHLY HIGHLY estimated!.

It depends on your speed of reading, ammount of dialogue compared with ammount of physical acting, and all other factors previously listed!.

I really hope I could help!!!

normally it is a good page or too!. But when you read it through you need to read it out loud and time yourself!. Remember when you get nerves you tend to tend to speed up!. as you practice try and stay with the time for you first read through !.!.!. this will show that you are not going too fast!. Try and pick a piece that is shorter than 4 or 5 minutes!.!.!. it is better to leave the audience wanting more than to be cut of or boar them to tears!. Just remember not to talk to fast and to articulate other wise your piece might be 1 minute ;-)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hey, I like to write scripts too, and based on some readings, most writers make it one page of dialogue for each minute!. It isnt that hard though!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
