of course you can put a school play on your resume!!! That's what most child actors have on their resume (like me)!. It depends at what level the school play is!. If it is really pretty professional and more like a high school show but a little bit less professional then it is definitely considered acting at a community theater!. After all, the school is part of the community and so is the theater!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It depends on how old you are!.

Early on in your career, sure, but as you grow older and start becoming more ambitious, then it's probably time to drop the high school plays, because it is not the same!. Sure, you get experience, but audiences expect different things from schoolkids than they do from a professional theater group in a regional theater!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

In a sense, it is the same!.!.!. You can essentially put anything from school on a resume!.!.!. sports, extracurriculars, community service, ect!. Depending on the position you hold in said activities, really is what you should look at before adding anything from school onto your resume!.!.!.although most jobs and colleges will take in school activities as a major influence!. It depends on your level of expirence that the director holds you to!.

Most directors I know hold actors to high standards and want the show they direct (whether they are community or school) to be proffesional!!!

If you reherse proffessionally and you act professionally then you have certainly gained a lot from the expirence

Its not the same thing and probably not even considered as having the same experience BUT you definitely could put it on your resume!

Especially in the beginning, you want to list any credits you have and a school play is just fine starting out :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
