Question: How could I get involved in theatres!?
I don't think I'd be a very good actress, but you never know!
Would I need to audition or do some theatres just allow anyone on!?

If I couldn't act on stage how would I be able to help with the set or whatever else, plus be able to watch the show!?
I don't wanna do this for an actual career - but it is too late to get involved!? I wanna do it in like my spare time or something!.

Please talk with reference to UK theatres, as it might be different elsewhere!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You don't say how old you are!. If you are old enough, you could become an usher/programme seller, or occasionally during pantomime season, some theatres need extra backstage staff!. Both require commitment though!. Usually 8 shows a week (sometimes 12)!. Most theatres would want to employ someone who could do all (or almost every) show!. If, however, you are talking about amateur theatre, I am sure there will be a local one near you who would be glad of backstage assistance!.

Being an usher is a good way to watch the show as there usually has to be staff in the auditorium during every performance!. If you work backstage, you won't see much of the show as you will probably be busy working!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well if you are not a good actor, there are tons of other stuff u could do, like become a writer, of work on movie or tv sets!. AND if u get to work with big stars, then maybe they will like u enought to date u, and then your acting career could get a boost!. But just dont date them 4 your own benefit, actually like them!.

OH, U SHOULD DO SHORT SKITS AND POST THEM ON YOUTUBE AND C WHAT PPL THINK!.

what r u better at!? comedy, drama, horror!?
alot of todays famous actors got there start in horror films!.
its never to late to try new stuff!.
and YES U WILL AHVE TO AUDITION, the only way u wont have to is as if you were an extra!. it also depends on whos directing the movie or castingWww@QuestionHome@Com
