Question: How can i prepare for the play auditions!?
To all thespians!!! ( or people who are good at giving advice!.:))
I am going to try out for the school play this november!. I made it last year, but i was only the narrator, which only had 3 lines!.THe teacher that does the play is my history teacher, and im on good terms with him, so that's not the problem!. My friend ( who's a boy) and i were the only 7th graders to make it and all the rest were 8th graders!. NOw that im an 8th grader, i want to be in the play so badly!!! also, if i make it, and he doesn't, then ill have no one to talk to for about 3 months while we practice!. :( if you have any tips or pointers, that would be great!.
Ill pass the tips on to him, so we have a better chance of both getting in!.
thanks in advance!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You obviously did something right last year to get cast in the play even though you were only a 7th grader!. This year, you have the experience of last year's audition behind you, plus the confidence you gained from being on stage in last year's play!. That gives you a running start going into this year's audition!. If you have a chance to read this year's play before the audition, that might help you prepare!. Otherwise, just do what you already know how to do!. Break a leg!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well 1st, see if the director is giving out parts of the play to practice with!. and if they are, get one a practice the lines in many different ways (voices, movements, etc) and then practice in front of family members so you are much more calm for the real audtion!. then when you go into audition go in looking confident and if along the way you mess up, just keep going like nothing happened!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
