Question: LAMDA The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art school !?

So after all my studies my dad has planned to pay three years acting with LAMD school has anyone been their before !? how is it !? and how goes the first interview !? Can the studies lead to career !?

Hi!. I don't know too much about the current state of LAMDA, other than that it is, of course, one of the long established drama schools but I feel I should address the final part of your question!.
Of course the studies can lead to a career, but there's no guarantees!. I'm afraid the brutal truth of the matter is that acting has a constant unemployment rate of 85-90% and the rate of people dropping out is very high!. The highs can be very high and it makes people stick in there no matter what!. but the lows can be very low and long bouts of unemployment can be difficult to take!.
I know this makes pretty grim reading and you probably won't thank me, but everyone who contemplates a career as an actor should know this!. If you then make an informed decision to go ahead with it all, then I wish you well!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
