Question: Need help understanding act V scene III of Romeo and Juliet!?
The section of the text I want to understand better is in Act V, scene III, when Juliet sends the Friar away!. Shakespeare chooses to have Juliet narrate the scene so that the audience understands what is happening!. For example, she notices that Romeo is dead but his lips are still warm, and the bottle of poison is empty!. I would like to know why she calls the poison "friendly" and the dagger "happy!."
