Um, he dies!. Hence the title!. Granted, the entire play is about him slowly dying in a metaphorical sense, but it does literally happen at the end!. If I recall correctly, he gets in the car and purposely crashes it!. There's a lot of speculation about his motive for doing so!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm curious about something: Wouldn't it have been faster to just check a copy out of the library (or sit and Barnes & Noble or Border's or someplace with a frappacino) and read the play!? Not only would it have been faster, but then you'd know the right answer (how do you know one or more answerers aren't making stuff up to make you look dumb, or because they don't know either!?)!. And if, somehow, along the way, you learned something about good writing (or other details of the play in case your teacher asks a different question tomorrow), that would just be side benefit!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
