Question: I remember a play that featured a woman playing a dog owned by a bachelor!. What is it!?

I don't know the title, nor the playwright, but someone told me of it a fair amount of time ago!. All I know is the woman playing the dog said "HEYHEYHEYHEYHEYHEY!" when barking at the door, and it would do things like a human would, like "sit" on the couch, when its owner would say "Get down", it would just sit Indian-style (is that a PC term anymore!?) on the floor!. It sounded interesting for our community theatre troupe, what is the name of it!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

You might be thinking of "Sylvia" by A!.R!. Gurney!. But the dog owner in that play is a married man, not a bachelor!. His relationship with the dog causes problems in his relationship with his wife!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
