Question: The Sting!.!.!.maybe a play!?

Okay, I was thinking about talking to my principal about doing a play about The Sting!. I was wondering if it would be too complicated for 8th graders to do!. We would only do the most important part!. The Sting is about con men!. One of their friends die, and they seek revenge on the people who killed their friend!. So would it be too complicated!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

i have seen year eights do the play "Macbeth" easily so if its not too complicated, your class should be fine!.
just a few things to consider:
1!. make sure the sure the lead role/s have enough time to remember their lines
2!. make sure that you get the WHOLE class to know the play back to front, so the leads and the side characters know whats going on!.
