Question: Please help monologue<3!?
Ok so I'm pretty nervous about my monologue tomorrow!. I hate getting up in front of people, it's not that I'm shy I just hate having so many eyes watching me!.

Anyways, I need help with my monologue, about a girl trying to convince her principal to make the school lockers bigger!. It goes as follows:

"Mr Saler, I need to talk to you since you're the principal and this is very important!. Our lockers are way too small!. Every time I stuff my coat in my locker I'm scared it won't ever squeeze back out!. I put my Chia Pet in my locker and he sprouted major hair and now he's jammed!. If I scrape him out, he'll lose his hair!. And he's ugly when he's bald!. And now we're gonna be part of 'Read Across America!.' Miss Miller told us to put our books and pillows in our locker to read later in the hallway!. We can't even fit pillows in our puny lockers! Maybe a pillowcase!. An open book is bigger than my locker door!. How am I gonna read across America when I can't even read across my locker!? Look, you know Dana Ford, right!? She's the teeniest girl in my class and even she can't fit in her locker!. We just tested!. And now she's stuck with only one leg in!. One leg! This is all your fault!. Now what are you gonna do about it!?"

I need a good ending, something to show the *gulp*!.!.!. audience!.!.!. what happens next!. I was thinking I could pause and be like "That's what I though you'd say!." all snotty because that's my character!. Any pointers/ideas!? Or anything to make me less nervous!?
PS I can't edit any of the lines, only add an ending!. : /
Thanks<3333 Www@QuestionHome@Com

If your character is snotty, DEFINITELY use a lot of large hand motions and put your hands on your hips a lot!. Stand like that one preppy girl you really really hate at school and stick up your nose like she does!. "That's what I THOUGHT you'd say" definitely sounds like a good ending, but maybe you could make it even ymore dramatic somehow!. Like!.!.!. "I KNEW you'd say that!" and then gasp all high pitched or something!?

Just add a TON of attitude into the monologue!. Use a "totally, whatever, DUH" voice and act like you absolutely own it!. Because for this two minutes it takes to recite the monologue, you are no longer yourself -- you're a snotty girl who wants lockers to be bigger!.

Stage fright is really a matter of knowing your confidence level :D I know you probably hear that, a TON, but it's really true!. I've been in plenty of plays but if you go up there knowing what you're doing, stage fright evaporates mostly!. :D Just do what you can; what happens happens and it's your best as long as you make it that!

Break a leg! :D Good luck, I hope I helped a bit!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I really can't help you with the adding lines and all!.!.but if you don't think about it, maybe you'll spontaneously come up with something!.
And just so you know, you will probably never get over stage fright! I know!.!.i know!.!. but it's true i've been acting in community theater since i was four and i still get stage fright at and im 28!. Any actor will tell you that when you think about it Stage fright is what makes our acting great!. The Thrill the Excitment!!!

Well Good Luck To You (about adding lines)
