Yes school and training is the best option!.

The majority of famous actors have been very, very well trained!. There are a very small handful that have never had any formal training, or very little!.

Tommy Lee Jones!. - None!.
Jason Statham!. - None!.
Gerard Butler!. - None!.
Clint Eastwood!. None!.
Dominic Monaghan!. Studied drama at six year school, but got early opportunities, so no formal training as such!.

A lot of the kids in the Harry Potter movies never had any prior experience or training!. Dan had a fair bit of experience though in child productions!.

To be honest there is a big list of actors with no training, but these people found remarkable opportunites that happen extremely rarely, and they all had either raw talent, physical attributes or that special spark that stands them out from the crowd!.

To be realistic, you have to assume that such opportuities will not happen to you, and the one and only real way of success is training and hard work!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
