As an actor, you won't like him, you're character will like his!.
If he's really a good actor, he'll understand what he must do to make an amazing show!. Just go up to him, and say something like,"Okay, look!. You want to make this show as amazing as it could possibly be, right!? Then we have to go out there, and our characters have to be in love!. The audience will LOVE it!. It's not really about what we want, but about what would make the play believable!."

You should add something else after that, so it's not as awkward, but just let him know that you aren't you on stage, but you are your character!. To be a good actor, you must become your character!.

I hope it helped a little!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You do not inject something into the show that the director is not planning to do!. Always work with the director and ask him before you add anything to his play!. So you have to trust the director to best know how to make the show the best it can!. Your judgement is to be subordinated to his!. When evern an actor in one of my plays tried to improve what I was doing, i had a rather stern talk with him or her!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Consult with the director on any decisions like that!. If you do it without their pre-approval you could be in for an angry director lecture or speech!.!.!.!.and those are NEVER fun!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
