Question: How to avoid blushing!?
Please help, I have to do announcements on the school's TV channel tomorrow!. (They are recorded after school and aired the next day!.) I blush so easily though!. Like I ask a question in my class of 24 students and turn red!. Now I have to talk to 2100+ people!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you are someone who blushes excessively, you’d probably love to know how to avoid blushing!. You may go out of your way to avoid people and any kind of situation that will trigger a blushing episode!. You may feel trapped by your problem and wish you could have a different kind of life!. It might also help if you avoid certain things that cause blushing—and that doesn’t mean people! Avoiding spicy foods, hot climates, and tight clothing may also help you avoid blushing!.

But you aren't talking to 2100+ people!. Just the one camera!. Ask if you can have a friend you are comfortable with operate it and just pretend you're having a conversation with them and just them!.

When you can't solve a problem, redefine or change the problem!.

You can't just get over blushing in one night, so, since you can't change that problem, change the variables that lead to it (make the camera no one, like a mirror, or get a friend to operate it)!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't know any ways to stop your actual blushing, but I would just go into it with the mentality that you are going to rock it!. Just act confident and other people will think that you are, and if you mess up, make a joke or laugh at yourself!. It's kinda like acting, you have to act confident and you will seem confident!. I used to have that problem too!. The long-term answer is to work on your self-confidence!. The short term answer is to wear foundation that blushes don't show though!. :P However, since I doubt you want to wear adding makeup to your problems, maybe try thinking of something else!? Don't think about how you know you're gonna blush!. Concentrate fully on what you're saying instead!. That worked for me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

WOW! totally empathize! Well, the first step is to be prepared, stay calm and don't make it out to be a big thing!. It always helps me when I'm up there to think, "Hey, no bid deal, I wasn't freaked out 10 minutes ago so nothing to be worried about!." Number two, practice!. Practice in front of your friends and family until you're confident in what you're saying!. Number three, ask yourself what is really making you blush!? Embarassment!? Fear!? Embarassment at what!? ohhh I feel your pain!. I'm 24 and have the same problem!. Honestly, there is nothing you can do! Just take a deep breath!. Too bad your not old enough, or you could have a alcoholic drink before!! that always helps!.!.!.!.but don't do that!!

Try taking a few deep, calming breaths before you make your announcements!. Don't keep the fact of how many people this will be seen by, but instead keep in mind that you are talking to an inanimate object and envision yourself to be alone while you're doing it!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just be yourself!. and Stop worrying about what 24 or 2100 think of you!. Be confident and think that you are just talking to some of your friends and updating them on the news!.!. If you got this opportunity means that you deserve it!. you will do great!
