Ok, so I've always wanted to become an actress, BUT I live in Canada and I am not allowed to leave the country until I am 18 (long story), and I want to be an actress before I am 18!. I have no Idea where to start, I have NO local theaters around my city, could you guys do some reasearch and give me a list of acting theaters around Alberta (Edmonton)!?!? That would help a lot!!!!! and after you leave a few acting theaters(if you do) around Edmonton or somewhere in Alberta or Canada, can you tell me how I could volunteer without embarrasing myself!? I seem to do that a lot!. And then, a little help on what to do when I am ready to start in movies!?!?(besides getting an agent and all that) Please Help, I am pretty young, so don't leave rude comments I apperciate it!!!!! It's a list of live theatre companies in Edmonton!. You can read each description, and see if it's what you're looking for!. Many of them also have their own websites, so you can check those out and see what kinds of shows they produce, what they've done in the past, and what they have planned for this season!.

There is contact info for each theatre group, too -- so you can call or email them, and ask to be put on their mailing list for AUDITIONS!. That way, you'll know when they're casting a show, and you can go and audition!.

You can also tell them that you're interested in volunteering -- perhaps as an usher or backstage -- whatever you'd like to do!.
