Question: (Writers) UIL Question!?
I am a Playwright and i have written many plays and have won contests, i had my play produced for one of the contests and a school director saw it and wants to do the show!. which i will get paid for, and my choir teacher said that if i am being paid would mean i am a professional Playwright meaning i can not do UIL!. do you know if this is true!? or maybe have adviceWww@QuestionHome@Com

It seems to me that any school doing any show would have to pay for the right to use it!. While I don't know the abbreviation you have used and I doubt that you in the Union just yet, it would seem to me that you can do just about anything after all its your work!.

I think its great that you school director wants to use your play, means you've made it and it just a matter of time before we see your stuff on Broadway!.
