What does "post mortem" in theatre mean?

Question: What does "post mortem" in theatre mean!?

I'm making a master calendar for a stage management class, but i've never really had much experience with formal theatre!.!.!.
can anyone give me an idea of what that means and where i might need to put it on the calendar!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Literally, it means "after death!." When a show comes down (closes) the various heads of departments (management, design areas, and artistic) and others will comes together to discuss what was done right and what was done wrong throughout the process and how it could be better done in the future!. Usually it is done a week or so after strike!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
