Question: How to do the best you can on your lines and not get nervous!?
Im gonna be in a play soon!. To make a long story short theres gonna be an angent there and i want to make a great impression and not be nervous!. Picturing people in their underwear doesnt work lol, neither does breathing techiniques!. Any tips here!? And can anyone got any good tips on memorizing lines!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

for memorizing, the best thing to do is count how many lines you have, and split them out over the time you have until you need them all memorized!. That way, you have a certain number of lines you want to have memorized by the end of the day, etc!.!.!. then, for the long lines, employ a similar technique!. split the line into smaller parts, memorize the parts one at a time and then recite it as a whole!.

Sounds like it may be one of your first plays ever, but the thing I've noticed after 4 years in High School Theatre is that after the first five minutes of being on stage, the rest of the play flies by!.
