Question: Good monologues for college auditions!?

Just some suggestions as a starting point!. I am an black, 16-year-old girl!. Monologues for women, teens, or African-Americans or playwrights who use either of those subjects or plays with any of those subjects would be greatly appreciated!. (=Www@QuestionHome@Com

The problem with so many auditioning actors these days is that they look for monologues!.

You ought to be looking for a good PLAY!.

And then read it through and through!. Find a good monologue, and use it!.
Try something like "Parallel Lives : The Kathy and Mo Show"!.!.!.

If you are feeling up too it you could try Meryl streeps character in devil wears prada,she did an amazing job!. Although it doesn't fit your Pg very well it is a very strong character!. I did the cerulean one last year!.
